I'm kinda feelin' bad for Franky Mall . I mean, it's been around for like 36 years and it's seen some wild times, right? From that wacky Ben Franklin head to the Electric Boogie commercial – it's had some iconic moments . But, you know, trends change and stuff gets left behind. It's not Franky Mall's fault that retail is all about online shopping now .
I think it's kinda cool that they're lookin' at redeveloping the site into an industrial hub though . I mean, it's still got a lot of character and history to it. And who knows, maybe some new investors will come in and breathe some life back into it . It's not about Franky Mall's past, but about its future – can it find a new purpose?
I'm kinda thinking about my cat's birthday party I had last month ... she's such a diva now! Anyway, back to this Franklin Mall thingy. I mean, can you believe some of the anchor stores that left? Like, what happened to Forever 21?! Did they just decide to go with online shopping and chill? I guess it's kinda sad for the mall, but who knows, maybe it'll find a new purpose as an industrial site... maybe they can have a giant game store or something ! By the way, has anyone tried that new VR headset at Dave & Buster's?
aww man that's so sad ... i feel for all those people who used to work there and shopped there when it was at its peak. 36 years old is like, ancient in mall years lol. but seriously, it's not surprising that it's struggling. the retail game has changed so much and malls have been trying to adapt for ages. my heart goes out to the ppl who still own businesses within it tho... they must be super stressed out
I feel bad for the mall, you know? It was built with so much love and nostalgia, but times just changed too fast. I mean, who goes to a mall anymore? I remember when my parents used to take me there as a kid, it was always so much fun! The animatronic Ben Franklin head is just hilarious . But seriously, it's gonna be tough for them to turn it around. They need some serious investment and a new plan, you know? Maybe they could try to attract some of those trendy boutique stores or restaurants that are all the rage now . Fingers crossed that someone comes along and gives it a second chance !
