Umm, so Nvidia just reported strong earnings and everyone gets all excited, but then it fizzles out?
I'm not seeing how a company that's worth over $4.4 trillion can't afford to invest in its own chips
. But at the same time, I get why people are worried - is this whole AI thing just a hype fest?
I mean, Robert Pavlik makes some good points about overspending on AI infrastructure, but what's driving the demand for these chips in the first place? Is it really just about artificial intelligence or is there something else going on under the surface?
And don't even get me started on the Fed keeping interest rates on hold... what's their game plan here?
Are they just letting the AI bubble blow itself out, hoping it doesn't come crashing down on everyone else?
