I gotta disagree with all this emotional nostalgia about 'Hell's Kitchen' closing down. Like, what's next? Every old musical gets a goodbye party just because it closed on Broadway? I think Alicia Keys is being dramatic about leaving the show behind. She's been playing the same role for years, maybe she needs a break or something. And by taking the show on tour, she's still gonna be performing in front of huge crowds, which is kinda the point of doing a musical in the first place. Let her move on with her life and not romanticize the end of an era just because it closed up shop. I'm more excited to see what she does next than I am about 'Hell's Kitchen' going national.
