I think its really sad that Alyssa has had to make this decision, but at the same time im glad shes being realistic about her game. 7k+ runs and 275 dismissals is insane! She's won so many trophies and still managed to lead the team to victory in some of the biggest series. 
Her competitive edge was always what drove her to be the best, and it sounds like she's come to a place where she can still play for Australia but not be driven by that same fire anymore.I think its great that Cricket Aus is going to celebrate her achievements throughout this series against India tho! They should definitely give her the recognition shes deserved. It'll be really cool to see how they do without her at the helm, but i think she's leaving on a high note which is awesome
