Apple patches ancient iOS versions to keep iMessage, FaceTime, other services working

so finally some love for the old iPhones 🙄 i mean, it's about time they got some TLC too... those devices are still clinging to life, and now we get to enjoy their super secure iMessage and FaceTime for another 3 years 🤣 seriously though, it's good to see Apple prioritizing its users, even if it means throwing some bandaids at older hardware rather than cutting them loose entirely 💻 but hey, at least they're keeping us safe from those pesky hackers 😅

OMG u gotta love apple right now!!! 🤯 They r showing us all that they actually care about their older customers. I mean I still got my 2018 iphone and sometimes I feel like it's time to bin it but if apple is gonna keep releasing updates till january 2027 id say stick with it 😂. Its also a nice move for ppl who use these devices in specific situations like schools or businesses. They need stability n security so this is perfect 🙌

so like apple is finally showing some love to its older devices 🙏... but at the same time, it's kinda sad that these devices are no longer good for much else... I mean, who needs an old iPhone just for iMessage and FaceTime? 📱 still, i guess it's better than nothing... and hey, for people who need those old devices for specific things, like being a simple messaging device or whatever, this is definitely a lifesaver 💻. and yeah, apple's commitment to its users is kinda cool... but at the same time, it's also making us wait even longer before we can upgrade 🤔... so i guess that's just life, right? 😐

I mean, it's about time someone looked out for our older gadgets, right? 🤗 I've got some elderly relatives who are super attached to their old iPhones and iPads, and it breaks my heart when we try to get them online and nothing works. But these security patches will at least ensure they can still send and receive messages without any major issues.

It's not like these devices are going anywhere anytime soon, so Apple's doing us a solid by keeping them viable for a bit longer. Plus, it shows that even though technology is constantly moving forward, companies care about the people who've already invested in their products. So kudos to Apple for taking care of its loyal customers! 👏

omg, finally! someone's gonna keep our ancient iPhones alive 🙄... like, we were starting to think they'd just become paperweights by now. i mean, it's not like we're asking for much, just a few more years of battery life and occasional notifications that we actually care about 😂. but seriously, kudos to apple for showing some love to their older devices. i guess you could say they're getting the extended support they deserve 💯... now if only they'd do something about the battery replacement situation 🤪

I'm not sure I'm too thrilled about this move from Apple... 🤔 I mean, think about it, we're essentially paying extra for our iPhones and iPads just to keep 'em updated and running for a bit longer 😒. And let's be real, how many of us are really gonna upgrade now? These older devices still suck compared to the new ones 📱. But hey, I guess it's good that Apple is looking out for its loyal users who can't afford the latest and greatest 💸. Still, I'd rather they put that cash into making these newer devices more secure and user-friendly instead of just patching up old code 🤷‍♂️.
