I'm all for supporting our immigrant friends and community members, but this is getting out of hand. The daycare owners are being singled out as Somali Americans, which is not fair to them or their businesses.

It's amazing that parents are stepping up to support each other, but what about the people who aren't directly affected by these raids? Don't they deserve some answers and explanation too? I'm also worried about the safety of these children... two people already lost their lives, and kids are getting hurt and detained? omg this is getting crazy! ICE raids are like something out of a movie - I remember watching movies with my grandma when I was little where they'd show ICE agents bursting into people's homes, it never crossed my mind that it could actually happen to real people . and the fact that these parents are being harassed just because of their kids' school is just wrong... I mean, what if someone came up to you and said you were doing something wrong just because they watched a video online? wouldn't you be like "no, that's not how it works"?

and can we talk about how messed up the system is when these parents are so scared their kids might get hurt or detained by ICE?
