Sabalenka's form is insane right now

. I'm not surprised she made it to the finals, but what really caught my attention was how she handled that controversy with Svitolina. I get where both players are coming from, and it's cool to see Sabalenka being diplomatic about it. However, I do think it's a shame the Ukrainian players aren't shaking hands anymore

. It's a small thing, but it shows there's still some tension between Russia and Ukraine.
As for Rybakina, she's definitely got some demons from her past to work through

. Her coach's behavior was pretty unacceptable, and I'm glad she got off with just a suspension (although that was a weird loophole). Despite all this, Rybakina's in great form now, so it'll be interesting to see how she matches up against Sabalenka.
The head-to-head between them is super one-sided, though

. I'm not sure how much of a difference Rybakina's skills will make at the highest level. Still, I think this is going to be an epic match – let's hope we get some great tennis out of it!
