I'm kinda stoked to see Jakob getting his music cred on with his dad Billie Joe. Like, they're both super talented and it's rad that he's producing and engineering too! It's not every day you see a son teaming up with their dad on vocals. I love how they said it was a challenging song for Jakob to do justice to, 'cause that means they went all out and made something special . Stranger Things definitely helped bring back the vibes of "Heroes", so it's cool to see this cover coming out now .
man I'm loving this unexpected collab between Billie Joe and his son Jakob! they really brought something new to that iconic "Heroes" track and it's awesome to see a whole new generation of Bowie fans discovering the song again thanks to Stranger Things . Jakob killing it on vocals too, it's clear he's got some serious talent brewing under the surface . gotta respect Billie Joe letting his kid take center stage like that - I'm sure it was a cool experience for both of them . anyway, can't wait to see what they have in store for us next
Man, I'm so done with these music platform duos ! First, we had Mumford & Sons, then The Lumineers... now it's Green Day and David Bowie? Can't we get some originality here? And what's up with the whole "father-son collaboration" trend? It's cool and all, but can't they just focus on making good music instead of trying to be cute and sentimental? I mean, I'm excited for the cover, don't get me wrong... but is it really necessary to make a big deal about it? Can we just stream the thing without all the fuss?
