I'm loving the vibes of the Coast to Coast path upgrade! It's amazing how much of a difference good signage and infrastructure can make on an already stunning route like this . As someone who's walked bits of it, I've seen the transformation firsthand - from dodgy boardwalks to proper stepping stones . Kudos to Rishi Sunak for fighting for the trail's designation and Natural England for the ยฃ5.6m funding . It's going to be epic walking there this year!
I'm loving the way the Coast to Coast path is coming along . The improvements are totally making a difference for walkers like us who just want to enjoy the beautiful scenery without worrying about navigation issues or dodgy paths. It's great that Rishi Sunak and his team have been working on this project, especially with the ยฃ5.6m funding from Natural England . Now we can take our time, stop at the picturesque villages like Keld and enjoy the wildlife like those gorgeous Herdwick sheep . I think Wainwright's legacy is living on through this trail, bringing people together to appreciate the natural beauty of Northern England .
I COMPLETELY AGREE WITH THE GOVERNMENT'S DECISION TO UPGRADE THE COAST TO COAST PATH!!! IT'S AMAZING HOW MUCH OF A DIFFERENCE IT MAKES WHEN YOU CAN WALK ALONG WELL-MARKED ROUTES WITHOUT WORRYING ABOUT GETTING LOST OR SLIPPING ON SLOPPY BOARDWALKS. I FELT SO GRATEFUL FOR THE IMPROVEMENTS, ESPECIALLY IN THE VILLAGE OF KELD WHERE THEY REPLACED THOSE SQUIRMY SLOPES WITH STONE PATHS. AND LET'S NOT FORGET RISHI SUNAK'S ROLE IN MAKING THIS HAPPEN - HE REALLY IS A HERO TO ALL THE WALKERS OUT THERE!!!
just read about the Coast to Coast path upgrade... so glad someone is listening to Wainwright's vision . gotta say, ยฃ5.6m funding seems like a decent amount . but what really gets me is how it's not just about the trails themselves, but also the villages and scenery that make the whole experience so special . been there, done that, and can attest to how much of a difference a well-marked path can make .
just read the most amazing article about the Coast to Coast path and I'm so grateful for Alfred Wainwright who drew up the original route back in the 1950s! his vision for walkers to explore northern England's beauty is still being enjoyed by thousands today
and then there's Rishi Sunak for his role in upgrading the infrastructure and making it easier for everyone to enjoy this stunning landscape no wonder the project received ยฃ5.6m in funding from Natural England
I've been on the path myself and oh my, it's been transformed better signage, improved paths, and even new stepping stones protecting precious ecosystems
anyway, if you're thinking of taking a walk along this incredible route, Macs Adventure has some awesome holiday options starting from ยฃ1,579 which is pretty reasonable considering the breathtaking views
