I'm so done with this whole thing

. It feels like the Trump admin is still all about sending out tough messages, but they don't actually care about what happens next

. Like, yeah, sure, President Trump says he had a "productive conversation" with Governor Walz, but what does that even mean? Are they going to start handing out participation trophies or something?
And can we talk about the fact that Attorney General Jeff Sessions is nowhere to be found? You'd think someone with his level of experience would be all over this situation like a cheap suit

. But nope, he's MIA. Meanwhile, Tom Homan gets to swoop in and start making decisions without any real oversight. Not cool, dude

I'm not buying the whole "Trump wants to fix the system" narrative either. This feels like more of the same old politics as usual

. The people of Minneapolis (and everywhere else) deserve better than to be treated like second-class citizens just because they don't want their cities to become de facto prisons

We need real solutions, not just empty rhetoric and PR stunts
