Brooklyn man charged in stabbing death of his 85-year-old grandmother

A 22-year-old Brooklyn resident is facing serious charges after allegedly stabbing his 85-year-old grandmother to death in their shared Bedford-Stuyvesant apartment. According to the NYPD, Jackson King had been taken into custody hours following the Tuesday night attack but wasn't formally charged until Friday.

Was there a hasty decision made by the cops or someone in King's family to avoid drawing more attention to the situation?

this case is just heartbreaking what's going on with some young people nowadays? stabbing their own family members it's like, you're already dead inside or something .
