Building owner OK’d Trump administration’s raid of Chicago apartment complex, court records show

🤔 I'm really concerned about this whole thing... it seems like the authorities are making a huge mistake by targeting innocent people just because they're from Venezuela or living in an apartment complex with some issues. The fact that the building's owner gave permission for the search, but only targeted units not legally rented, raises so many questions about what was really going on here.

I mean, think about it... if the government was actually looking for gang members or people involved in crime, why did they detain so many people with no history of crime? And why were they using military-style tactics like helicopters and flashbang grenades? That's not exactly reassuring, especially when you consider that most of the residents are just regular people trying to make a living.

It also seems like there was some kind of intimidation game going on here... if the targets of the investigation had alerted federal authorities about the Venezuelan immigrants, it would be one thing. But then they started targeting specific units and detaining people without any clear connection to crime or gang activity? That's just not right.

We need to get to the bottom of this and find out what really happened here... was there some kind of political motivation behind the raid? I don't think it's a coincidence that this happened during the Trump administration, with their tough-on-immigration policies. Whatever the truth is, it's clear that innocent people got hurt in this botched operation, and we need to make sure that justice is served. 💯

this whole thing is just so messed up 🤯... i mean, the building owner and property manager gave consent for the search, but it looks like they were only targeting specific units - basically, people who weren't even supposed to be living there 🤔. it's like the feds were looking for an excuse to crack down on the venezuelan immigrants, knowing full well that they're not gang members or involved in any crime... meanwhile, some us citizens were left sleeping soundly while others were zip-tied and detained 😴. it's a total mess, and i hope something comes of this investigation into the building owner's company 🤞

🤔 Can't believe how messed up this raid was 🚫. Like, I get that there are problems with immigration, but targeting an entire building just 'cause some people might be "unlawfully occupying" apartments? That's not how it works 😒. And what's with the Tren de Aragua thing? Is that even a real gang? 🤷‍♂️

And I'm so confused about why they didn't check for other people living in the building before making all those arrests 🔍. It sounds like some people were just "zip-tied" and thrown out without even knowing what was going on 😱. And what about all the U.S. citizens who were left undisturbed? Did they not get a warning or anything? 🤔

It's also wild that the building owner gave permission for the search, but only targeted certain units 📝. Like, I'm sure Trinity Flood and Corey Oliver thought it was a good idea to "help" out the feds... 😒. And now they're getting investigated by the Illinois Department of Human Rights? 🚔

This whole thing just reeks of racism and xenophobia 🚫. The fact that there were Venezuelan immigrants targeted specifically because of their nationality is just wrong 🤬. Can't we just treat everyone equally and fairly, regardless of where they come from or what they look like? 💖
