By land, sea and air, travel around NYC uneven following winter storm

Ugh, can't even get around NYC rn πŸ€―β„οΈ. Winter storm is really messing with travel plans. I mean, I've been on the subway for hours and we're still experiencing delays due to switch issues or signal problems...it's like they're not even trying to fix it yet? πŸ™„ The airports are a nightmare too, 35 flight delays at LaGuardia alone...who needs that kind of stress in their day? 😩 And don't even get me started on the roads. Alternate-side parking rules suspended and it's just chaos out there.

I feel for all the commuters trying to make it to work or school today. Just take your time, check flight status, and factor in extra time...it's not worth stressing about it too much, you know? πŸ™ At least we can look forward to some decent weather soon...right? β˜€οΈ

Ugh πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ, I remember when flying was even more of a hassle back in my day... like, remember when you had to actually talk to a human at the airline desk to change your flight? πŸ˜‚ Now it's all online this and that. And don't even get me started on those airport "delays" – what's with all these new-fangled delay codes? "Delays due to inclement weather"? πŸ€” Give me a break! In my day, we just called it a snowstorm and we were outta there! πŸ’¨ And then there's the subway... I swear, those delays must be some kind of joke. Did they not have enough engineers back in the day? πŸš‚πŸ‘Ž

Ugh 🀯, just can't even right now... I remember back when I was younger, traveling during winter storms used to be a real adventure. Now it's all just a big headache 😩. First of all, the airports are always gonna be a pain, but come on! 35 flight delays and 40 cancellations at LaGuardia? That's just crazy. And don't even get me started on the subways – I'm surprised they didn't shut 'em down altogether like I did back in the day πŸ˜‚.

I guess what really gets my goat is that people need to plan ahead and check their flight status before heading out. It's not like it's rocket science, folks! πŸš€ Just check your phone or computer 10 minutes before you leave and you'll be golden. And can we please just get some real-time updates on the trains? I know I'm not a spring chicken anymore, but even I don't have time to sit around waiting for hours for my train to arrive.

And what's with all these reduced schedules? It feels like they're just gonna leave us hanging until the storm passes. Can't we just get some real help here? πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ Just a retired old lady trying to make sense of it all...

🚨😩 omg u guys i know someone who works at JFK airport & they said it was INSANE on tues morning flights were delayed left & right no idea how they're gonna get everyone out 🀯 and i heard the subway was a mess too multiple lines were down due to bad weather πŸ˜“ not surprised tho winter storm is always brutal in nyc πŸ’¨ anyway just planning extra time for ur commute like a week or 2 now lol

Omg u guys i cant even imagine having to deal with all that travel chaos πŸ˜©πŸš—!! like, how r they supposed to recover from the weekend storm already? i feel bad for all the ppl who had to take buses or trains πŸšŒπŸš‚ instead of flying or driving. and wow 35 flight delays at la guardia?? that's crazy 😱 what even is a normal amount of flight delays tho? like, is there like some sort of record or something? πŸ€” and u know whats weird the mta website is literally where ppl r checking for subway updates lol why cant we just get real time info on the metro app instead? πŸ“±πŸš‚
