Ugh, can't even get around NYC rn 
. Winter storm is really messing with travel plans. I mean, I've been on the subway for hours and we're still experiencing delays due to switch issues or signal problems...it's like they're not even trying to fix it yet? 
The airports are a nightmare too, 35 flight delays at LaGuardia alone...who needs that kind of stress in their day? 
And don't even get me started on the roads. Alternate-side parking rules suspended and it's just chaos out there.
I feel for all the commuters trying to make it to work or school today. Just take your time, check flight status, and factor in extra time...it's not worth stressing about it too much, you know?
At least we can look forward to some decent weather soon...right?

, I remember when flying was even more of a hassle back in my day... like, remember when you had to actually talk to a human at the airline desk to change your flight? 
Now it's all online this and that. And don't even get me started on those airport "delays" – what's with all these new-fangled delay codes? "Delays due to inclement weather"? 
Give me a break! In my day, we just called it a snowstorm and we were outta there! 
And then there's the subway... I swear, those delays must be some kind of joke. Did they not have enough engineers back in the day? 
Just check your phone or computer 10 minutes before you leave and you'll be golden. And can we please just get some real-time updates on the trains? I know I'm not a spring chicken anymore, but even I don't have time to sit around waiting for hours for my train to arrive.
