Casey Means was supposed to be leading the charge on healthcare, but now she's too busy changing diapers to do her job. And Calley, poor thing, gets fired without so much as a public announcement 
. It's all just one big exercise in transparency (lol). The fact that they were trying to sneak him back in under the Special Government Employee umbrella is just laughable 
. I'm glad Public Citizen called them out on it. At least now we know the Trump administration has no qualms about bending the rules... again

I mean, if she didn't have any real expertise or qualifications for that role, why was she still employed there after her term ended? And now people are talking about possible conflicts of interest with her wellness company... it just doesn't add up 
. I don't want some unqualified person with ties to a wellness company profiting from tax-advantaged medical spending. That just sounds sketchy. Public Citizen is totally on point when they say the Trump administration abused this whole thing. It's like, what even is the point of having these special government employees if we can just hire whoever we want without any oversight? 
Anyway, I guess it's a good thing we got some transparency on this one... or at least, more transparency than usual

It's one thing to have a baby, but I guess it's another thing to manage your time when you're a nominee for a super important position like Surgeon General.

How did Truemed even get a foothold in the White House? And what about Calley's background in alternative medicine - shouldn't that be a major red flag for Surgeon General? 
And on top of that, there are these accusations of abuse of power and potential financial ties to a wellness company... it just doesn't add up. I guess what I'm saying is, maybe the Trump administration should've been more transparent about Calley's role and qualifications before they brought her on board. 
What a scandal! And now Calley's brother is gone from his White House gig - abuse of power, right?
