I gotta say, Cam Newton's got a point about Drake Maye's role in the Patriots' postseason run
. Like, we've seen quarterbacks have successful seasons with solid defenses backing them up, but can they carry their teams to the Super Bowl on their own?
For me, it's all about numbers and production, and while Maye's shown some flashes of brilliance, he's not putting up those crazy stats like Tom Brady did during his championship runs
. But at the same time, Newton's being kinda harsh by saying Maye's not a game-changer
. I mean, if he can keep it up and lead the Pats to another title, we'll be talking about him as an all-time great in no time
