I'm shocked by the allegations against Martin Bally, he's been with Campbell's for a long time... or at least, that's what I thought . It's crazy to think that someone in his position could make comments like that and not be held accountable sooner. The fact that Garza was let go just 20 days after reporting the incident is a big red flag - it feels like Campbell's is more concerned with protecting their own than actually taking care of their employees.
The recording allegedly made by Bally has yet to be released, but if what Garza says is true, it's unacceptable. Food production should be about making delicious products for people, not making value judgments based on someone's background or habits . I hope the investigation into this incident finds Campbell's taking responsibility and holding Bally accountable - their brand reputation depends on it
I'm not surprised to hear this . I mean, come on, who makes a comment like that? Sounds like just another example of corporate doublespeak to me... like they think they can just sweep it under the rug and pretend it never happened. I don't trust these types of investigations, always seem so half-hearted and only go as far as the company wants them to. What's really going on here is probably that Bally gets a slap on the wrist and continues to collect his paycheck. And Garza? Good luck with that wrongful termination lawsuit... might take forever to get resolved
this is like totally unacceptable if u r making racist comments about people who work at ur company and customers too its not just about those ppl, its about creating a culture of respect & inclusivity for everyone
campbell's is like, super big & has lots of employees but it still needs to address the issue seriously & not brush it off or downplay it like they did with martin bally who r u gonna believe ur ceo or the guy who actually experienced the racism?
man this is so messed up campbell's is like a huge deal and they got one of their execs making racist comments and now he's on leave but idk if that's enough the way garza was treated after reporting it is so not cool, like totally ignored gotta ask why campbell's lets this kinda stuff slide for so long what else are they hiding? should be more accountability
