Can you solve it? Are you as smart as Spock?

Logic Puzzle That's More Frustrating Than Mr. Spock's Worst Brain Teaser

A group of friends, Andy, Bea, and Celine, are in a cookie-sharing predicament. They start with ten cookies and take turns reaching into the jar to grab as many or as few as they like, without communicating with each other. Their objective: divide the cookies fairly among themselves while avoiding having more than their fair share.

However, if they prioritize fairness over getting the most cookies, it becomes a difficult task. To make matters worse, no one wants to end up with either the largest or smallest number of cookies, as those scenarios are considered undesirable. The friends must act rationally and work in their best interests, without forming alliances or discussing strategies.

As World Logic Day approaches on January 14th, puzzle enthusiasts can try to crack this tricky conundrum. Can you devise a strategy for these three friends to divide the ten cookies fairly, while also minimizing the likelihood of one person having significantly more cookies than the others?

omg u gotta love how hard it is to share cookies with ppl πŸͺπŸ˜’ i mean who doesnt want to keep all the cookies 4 themselves lol. but seriously its like they need to make this riddle harder or sth. Andy Bea Celine sounds like a bunch of teenagers trying to figure out who's gonna get the most snacks at the party 🀣. can u imagine having a cookie war where ppl are fighting over crumbs and sugar highs πŸͺπŸ’₯. anyway guess they gotta keep tryin till someone comes up with the perfect cookie-sharing strategy πŸ€”.

Ugh, this puzzle is giving me life 🀯! I mean, who doesn't love a good brain teaser, right? πŸ˜‚ It's like, you're trying to be all logical and stuff, but then it hits you that everyone's got their own goals in mind. Like, what if Bea takes 2 cookies and Andy takes 1, but Celine has no idea how many she took... it gets messy quickly πŸ€ͺ

I'm thinking of giving this one a shot, but I'm not exactly the next Einstein, you know? πŸ˜… Maybe we can all try to figure it out together? I just posted an article about logic puzzles on Reddit, check it out!
Anyone got any ideas? πŸ€”

🀯 This logic puzzle is literally driving me crazy! I mean, who wouldn't want 10 cookies and just get an equal share... sounds simple right? πŸ˜‚ But nope, it's like trying to solve a math problem on steroids. The thing that's really bugging me is how none of the friends can communicate or form alliances, so they have to do everything by themselves. It's like trying to play a solo chess game with an opponent who's secretly trying to win! 🀯

What I think would be super helpful in solving this puzzle is being able to break it down step by step and really analyze the numbers. Like, if one person gets 2 cookies, does that mean the other two can get fewer? And what about if one person gets a cookie, but doesn't want to be left with none? It's like trying to solve a rubix cube blindfolded... not fun! πŸ˜‚

OMG u gotta love a good logic puzzle πŸ˜‚πŸͺ! So I've been thinking about this cookie-sharing conundrum and I think I have a solution πŸ€”. It's all about making a smart move first, like Bea, she should grab 2 cookies and put the rest back in the jar πŸ“¦. Then Andy goes next, he takes 3 cookies but puts 1 back and leaves it on the table... just kidding, that wouldn't work 😜.

Seriously though, I think if they take turns doing what's called a "cookie split" - where they each take an equal amount of cookies minus one more than their own share - it would be a winner πŸ†! For example, Celine takes 3 cookies, Andy takes 2 and Bea takes 5. Then the next round is all about adjusting to keep everyone's cookies in check πŸ”.

It's not rocket science, but you gotta think ahead and play your cards right 😎. Can't wait for World Logic Day on Jan 14th, gonna test this out with my friends and see who comes out on top 🀝! πŸ‘

omg u guys this logic puzzle is like super frustrating lol i mean who wants 2 b stuck with half the cookies while their friends get all da good ones??? anyway i think i got a possible solution but its super tricky u need 2 have each person grab 3 cookies then swap w/ someone else who grabbed 3 cookies but not 1st or last thats da key apparently u can do dis like 5 times 2 get it right but if u dont u end up w/ one person having way more cookies than da othersπŸ˜’πŸͺπŸ’‘

Ugh, who loves puzzles like this?! 🀯 They got 10 cookies and want to share them like it's no big deal... meanwhile I just spent 20 minutes trying to figure out how to get my favorite TV show from Crunchyroll πŸ“Ί. Anyway, back to these cookie geniuses... so the thing is, if they don't talk to each other, how are they supposed to know what's fair? Maybe they should just rock, paper, scissors for cookie shares πŸ€Ήβ€β™€οΈ and be done with it? πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ
πŸ‘

omg this logic puzzle is literally driving me crazy 🀯 i mean who thought it was a good idea to leave 3 people with nothing but a bunch of cookie crumbs?

anyway i think i've found a possible solution πŸ€” but it's super complicated. basically you gotta have one person take x cookies, then the next person takes y cookies from the first person's stash, and so on. and then the last person has to take z cookies that are exactly divisible by 3 (or something) or else they'll end up with more than everyone else.

i'm not even sure if this is gonna work πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ but i've seen some clever solutions online that might just do the trick. anyone want to give it a shot and let me know how it goes? 😁

I'm so exasperated by this cookie-sharing puzzle πŸͺ😩. It's like trying to solve a math problem in my head and getting absolutely stumped! The more I think about it, the more frustrated I get - who doesn't want to end up with an equal number of cookies? πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

I mean, think about it: if one person has too many cookies, it's not like they can just magically share them with someone else. And on the other hand, if no one wants the most or least amount of cookies, that means everyone has to be in the middle ground. It's like trying to solve a puzzle blindfolded and bump into every single wall along the way πŸ˜‚.

I'm rooting for these three friends to figure it out (or should I say, crack the code? πŸ€”) - maybe they can share some tips on how to divide those cookies fairly?!

ugh i love logic puzzles like this πŸ˜©πŸ’‘ but this one is like trying to solve a rubix cube blindfolded 🀯 it's just so frustrating when you think you've got it right and then BAM! someone comes along and ruins everything 🚫 what's even crazier is that they're trying to be fair but also not want to end up with too many or too few cookies, like, isn't being the middle child just the best way out of this situation? πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

omg u gotta help me figure out dis logic puzzle lol!!! i mean i thought i was good at math and stuff but dis is crazy! ok so if they cant talk to each other it means they gotta think really far ahead. like what if one person takes 3 cookies and the other two take 2? does that sound fair? or is that just making it worse?

i know its not as hard as solving for spock but still its super tricky! i wish i had an answer πŸ€”πŸͺ️. anyone have any ideas?

Ugh, I'm so frustrated by this thing! 🀯 It's like they want us to go crazy trying to figure it out. Can't we just have a simple solution for once?! 😩 I mean, come on, 10 cookies and no communication... sounds like a recipe for disaster. And now you're telling me that the goal is to avoid having too many or too few? Are they kidding me?! πŸ€” It's like trying to solve a math problem while being stuck in a maze with blindfolds. I swear, my brain is about to explode! πŸ’₯

I feel like I'm stuck in this cookie jar with these guys πŸͺ😩 They're trying to be fair and stuff, but it's hard when you don't wanna be the one with all the cookies or none at all... It's like they're walking on eggshells over there, not knowing what move to make next. I can imagine how frustrating it must be for them! 🀯 Do you think it's even possible for them to figure this out? πŸͺπŸ’‘

😐 I'm not sure why people get so worked up over cookie sharing. It's just 10 cookies, right? πŸͺπŸ€·β€β™€οΈ Anyways, this logic puzzle seems pretty straightforward to me. Just think about it like a simple algebra problem... unless you're one of those people who gets really anxious about math πŸ˜…. Seriously though, I'm sure someone will come up with a solution within 24 hours or less. It's not like they need to communicate or form alliances, just use some basic logic πŸ€”.

🀯 i just tried solving that cookie puzzle with my family last weekend and omg it's way harder than it sounds lol! we were all like "okay i'll just grab 2 or 3 cookies" but nope turns out it's not that simple. u gotta think like a game of chess or something πŸ“ŠπŸ˜¬ what i found was if they take turns in a specific order like that one person takes an odd number, the next person takes a remaining even number, and so on... might just work? guess we need to test it out πŸ”πŸ’‘

omg u gotta love these logic puzzles! 🀯 i mean, who doesnt wanna solve a mystery with friends and cookies lol? but seriously, this one sounds super challenging... i tried to find a solution online but nothing seems to work πŸ™…β€β™‚οΈ. it kinda makes sense that no one would wanna end up with the most or least, u gotta find that sweet spot! 🍰 i heard a strategy is to have them alternate turns and try to get as close to an equal amount as possible... but even that's not guaranteed πŸ˜”. any puzzle solvers out there can shed some light on this? πŸ€“
