CBA boss grilled over decision not to repay bank fees to vulnerable customers – video

Ugh, just great. Another big bank getting called out for being, you know, super generous with their customer fees 😒. Like, I get it, mistakes happen, but thousands of people losing out on millions of dollars in reimbursement? That's just not cool, fam. The fact that the CEO is still trying to spin this as "following policies" just shows how out of touch they are 🙄. And honestly, can't we just have a system where banks automatically reimburse these kinds of fees for people who might be struggling to make ends meet? It's not like it's rocket science... 👀

😬 I'm literally shaking my head over this... how can a bank just not care about its most vulnerable customers?! 🤯 It's like they're profiting off people who can't even afford to pay their bills on time. $4 million loss of revenue for these customers each year is crazy! 🤑 And what really gets me is that the CEO claimed they followed all their policies and guidelines... but clearly, someone needs to review those policies ASAP ⏰. We need stricter bank regulations in Canada to protect our customers from these types of exploitation. It's not right that low-income folks are being taken advantage of like this 🤝.

This is a total joke 😂. They're charging customers extra for being poor? It's like asking someone to pay rent before they even move in 🤯. The CEO is just covering his own behind, saying it's all part of the "policy" and "guidelines". Newsflash, Andrew: policies are meant to help people, not rip them off 💸. This bank needs to be shut down and reformed ASAP 👊.

I don’t usually comment but... it's wild how some big banks think they can just take advantage of people who are already struggling 🤯. I mean, $4 million loss of revenue for vulnerable customers each year is a crazy amount. It's not like the bank is losing money or anything, they're just taking extra cash from people who need it most.

I feel bad for those low-income customers who have to deal with this kind of thing. They're already fighting to make ends meet, and then they get hit with these unfair fees that the bank won't even reimburse them for? It's not right 💸.

I think it's great that there's a heated debate going on about bank regulations and customer protection in Canada. Industry experts need to take a closer look at how banks are handling things like this, because clearly, something needs to change 📊.
