idk what's going on but i just saw the news that a new theme park is coming to our city 
and i am SO down! they're building an entire world inspired by anime and manga and i'm low-key hyped already 
anyone else heard about this? seems like it's gonna be a game-changer for tourism here. not sure if it's just a phase or what but if it does happen, can't wait to check it out! would love to see some exclusive cosplayers and maybe even some collaborations with local artists 
also heard they're planning some sick events like concerts and meet-and-greets 
fingers crossed this thing actually gets built

and it got me wondering if parents are doing enough to educate their kids on how to navigate the internet without putting themselves in danger 
. like, i mean we're all super protective of our kids in real life but do we extend that same protection to their online lives? 
i know some parents might be hesitant to have "the talk" with their kids about things like online predators and cyberbullying because they don't want to scare them off or make them feel weird
. but trust me, it's way better to have that conversation upfront rather than dealing with the consequences later on

i think we need to make online safety a part of our parenting toolbox, you know? like, just as we teach our kids how to ride a bike or tie their shoes

It's like we've forgotten how to fix our own leaky faucets or patch up a torn screen door 
. I mean, come on, it's not that hard! A quick google search can take you far . Don't get me wrong, I love watching YouTube tutorials and all, but sometimes I wish people would just try something with their own two hands . It's a great way to learn problem-solving skills and be more self-sufficient

. So, next time someone asks for help, don't say "I can't help with that" , try saying "hold my hand through it" or offer to guide them through the process

There's gotta be more to the situation than what we're seeing on the surface. People are always jumping to conclusions and making assumptions... I don't know, it just seems like we need to take a step back and try to understand where they're coming from. Maybe there's something we can learn from this that we haven't considered yet
