. He looked really good in the Betfair Chase at Haydock and he still has that impressive form to back it up. I think Kate Tracey is right, but only because he does have a weight penalty which might slow him down. What's weird is all this hype around L'Homme Presse being a dark horse 
...he has decent form, yeah, but Grey Dawning was pretty dominant in the last race. And Spillane's Tower seems like an underdog who could surprise us, I guess? 
seriously though, L'Homme Presse might just have what it takes. Spillane's Tower is underrated but if he doesn't win one of the trials, he'll be toast

I think it's awesome that JP McManus is giving L'Homme Presse a shot – yeah, his form hasn't been great lately, but you can never rule out an upset at 5/1 odds. It's like they say in horse racing: don't count your chickens before they hatch! 
I think L'Homme Presse is getting a bit of a raw deal - he's got some dodgy form, but if he can set a good standard then that'd be awesome, right? 
My mate says Grey Dawning should be the one winning it this year 'cause he's been on fire, but I'm not so sure... 
. I mean, we all know horses are unpredictable, right? But what really gets me is that some of them are basing their bets on tiny bits of information – like a few good performances in smaller events. Meanwhile, Grey Dawning has been doing well for years, and now he's got some weight to carry around 
. I guess it's all about taking calculated risks, but you can't help but wonder what's gonna happen when the big day comes
