Chosen Family by Madeleine Gray review – friends, lovers or something in between?

🌟 Madeleine Gray's novel Chosen Family is literally my favorite thing right now 💖 The way she writes about female friendships feels so real & relatable 🤩 And can we talk about Nell & Eve's bond? It's like the most beautiful, complicated mess of emotions 😭

I'm really loving this book so far! I have a 12-year-old daughter who's going through some tough times at school right now, and this story about Nell and Eve is making me think about the kind of relationships my daughter needs to develop. It's so honest about what it means to be a good friend and how sometimes that can get messy. I also love how the author explores themes of identity and self-discovery - as a parent, it's crazy how much we're still learning about our own kids! 🤗📚

I'm telling you, this new book by Madeleine Gray is like, totally revealing some deep secrets about our society 🤯. I mean, think about it, two women who are super close since childhood, but then they grow up and get all complicated with each other. It's like, the author is showing us that even in a world where we're supposed to be celebrating female friendships, there can still be this undertow of... something else 🌊.

And don't even get me started on the part about Nell and Eve considering starting a family together using sperm from one of their gay male friends. That's like, so not random, you know? It's like the author is saying, "Hey, we're going to challenge these traditional norms and see what happens." But what if it's more than that? What if it's some kind of... experiment? 🧬

Anyway, I'm not gonna lie, this book has me totally intrigued. I'm gonna have to dig deeper into the author's background and see if there's anything suspicious going on behind the scenes 😉.
