Chrysler recalls 320,000 Jeep plug-in hybrids due to faulty battery that can catch fire

I don’t usually comment but... I think this is super concerning 🚨. I mean, 320k vehicles are a lot and if there’s even a small chance of fires, it's huge. I've got a friend who owns a Jeep Wrangler and they were thinking of buying another one because of how much he loves the brand, but now that I know about this recall... 🤔

I don’t know what Samsung SDI America is doing to fix this, but it seems like they need to step up their game 💯. And what's up with NHTSA not notifying owners sooner? 🕰️ December 2nd is gonna be a busy day for customer service calls I imagine... 😬

Anyway, gotta say, I hope the fixes come soon and that no one gets hurt in these fires 🔥. Chrysler needs to do better than this 👎

🚨💥😱 A car that can catch on fire from a battery fail - what's next? 🤣 A toaster that can launch bread into orbit?! 🍞🚀 [Image of a toaster blasting off into space] 🔥

omg, like what?! faulty batteries in jeep plug-in hybrids?! 😱 that's so not good at all... i mean, i get it, cars can be finicky, but a fire hazard? that's major 🚨. and to think they're gonna have to go through this whole process again for owners who've already had issues before... ugh, just the thought of it is giving me headaches 😩. anyway, hope chrysler gets this sorted out ASAP 👍. and can we talk about how confusing the language is? like, "interim notification letters" 📨? what even is that supposed to mean? 🤔
