I dont get why US politicians have to make everything so complicated . They just need to figure out how to deal with China in a normal way without making an entire country feel like theyre walking on eggshells.

Its getting scary to think that anyone who mentions china without being super careful could be "labeled" and face serious consequences, including deportation . What if you accidentally buy something from a Chinese company or talk about china with a friend? You could get in trouble for it?! Its just too much .

I also dont like how some groups are using the word "spying" to justify these laws . Theyre not even saying what specific actions they think are suspicious . It feels like they're trying to silence people and restrict free speech without giving anyone a good reason why .

Why cant we just have an open conversation about how to deal with china in a way that makes everyone feel safe and respected?
