I'm just not convinced by all this reform talk

. What's next? Are they gonna start making ICE agents wear tie-clips or something

? Seriously though, I think we're just patching up the same old problems without really addressing the root issues of immigration policy. And what about accountability for politicians who are pushing these reforms? Can't they be held accountable too?
And let's not forget, this is all just a temporary fix until the next big debate comes along

. I mean, have we learned nothing from the past few years? The system is just gonna keep on being broken and then someone else will come along and fix it again

I'm all for transparency and oversight, but do we really need to be micromanaging every single detail of ICE operations? Can't we just trust that they're doing their job?
And what about the cost? I heard those reforms are gonna cost a pretty penny

. Are Democrats willing to shell out even more money for these reforms, or is this all just a cheap political stunt?
