Denmark welcomes Trump ruling out force to take Greenland, before 'future deal' framework announced – as it happened

I think its pretty obvious why Greenland is still a priority for the US 🤔, and its not just about having an icebreaker ship in the Arctic like everyone else thinks...its about having strategic military bases and access to natural resources 🌎. Trump's all talk no action approach doesn't impress me at all, sounds like more of the same old bluffing we've seen from him before 🤑. Meanwhile, Denmark should keep on being cool and not let it slip through their fingers 🤞

I'm still trying to wrap my head around this whole thing 🤯... I mean, come on, Donald Trump can't even get a country's name right? Like, what if he really did try to take over Greenland and just got lost in the Arctic Circle 😂. But seriously, it's good that he said no military force, but let's be real, when has that ever stopped someone from trying to grab something they want? 🤔 The fact that NATO is involved now just makes me think there's more to this story than we know 💭.

And can we talk about how Norway's Jens Stoltenberg was on point with his comments about respecting Denmark's territorial integrity? I mean, it's not like Greenland is a disputed territory or anything 🙄. It's just a country that happens to be attached to some ice and snow. Get over yourself, Trump! 😂 Anyway, I guess we'll just have to keep an eye on this situation and see where it goes from here 👀.

I don’t usually comment but... I think it's weird how Trump keeps going on about acquiring Greenland 🤯. Like, what's the point of even mentioning it? Is he really gonna try and take over the whole country? And Norway’s Jens Stoltenberg saying that just because Trump didn't threaten military action doesn’t mean the issue is solved... makes sense I guess 😐. But still, it feels like a big power play to me 🏰. And what's with the mix-up about Iceland and Greenland? Like, come on! 🤦‍♂️
