I don’t usually comment but I think this is gonna be sick ! Opening just in time for Tigers Opening Day? That's genius. I mean, who doesn't love food and baseball on the same day? It's like they're speakin' my language now . And I gotta say, 4k sq ft is a pretty sweet spot - it's not too big, not too small, just right for a cozy meal with friends or a date . Plus, partnering with Bedrock is a solid move, they're always bringin' some kinda magic to Detroit. Now, I'm curious, what's on the menu? Chicken and waffles is always a winner in my book

awww man, can't wait 4 this new location ! it's so cool that they're opening just in time 4 the Tigers game... i'm sure it's gonna be packed with all the baseball fans cheering on their team . but what i really love is that the owners are keeping joe louis' legacy alive by sharing his values of excellence & community with everyone... it's such a beautiful way to honor his memory . and can you imagine tryin' that famous chicken & waffles for yourself?

im super hyped for this new location it's gonna be awesome to have joe louis southern kitchen right in the heart of detroit's sports scene, especially with the tigers opening day coming up. i love that they're keeping the legacy of joe louis going and sharing a taste of the south in detroit. can't wait to try out their chicken and waffles

I'm super stoked that they're opening this new location just in time for Tigers Opening Day ! As a parent with kids, I know how hard it can be to find restaurants that are both fun and convenient after a baseball game. This spot seems like the perfect solution - Southern food that's familiar and comforting for everyone, plus an awesome atmosphere to catch up or celebrate a win . It'll be great for families to enjoy together, whether they're local or just visiting from out of town. Can't wait to try the chicken and waffles with my crew ‍

omg u guys!!!!!! i cant even right now!! they r opening a 3rd location of joe louis southern kitchen in detroit downtown just in time for tigers opn day!!!!! i mean i already know i m gonna be there eating all the chicken n waffles and biscuits n gravy and stuff cant wait to see how its goin to look like inside lol bedrock owns the place so it must b fire!! and did u no joe louis was a total legend?? his son is keepin his legacy alive thru food???? i need to try this ASAP!!

So I wonder if this new location is gonna be a hit or miss? I mean, the original Joe Louis Southern Kitchen has been doing alright since its opening back in 2021, but this new spot on Woodward Avenue is bound to attract some visitors with the Tigers Opening Day vibes. The fact that it's part of Bedrock, Dan Gilbert's empire, gives me hope for this location too... his developments have been pretty solid in the area so far. I'd love to see how they execute on the menu and atmosphere - are we gonna get a more upscale Southern experience or something more laid-back?
