it's gonna hurt canadian businesses so much and also affect the global economy...i just hope canada doesn't back down to his demands, they gotta stand strong against this bully mentality

can't even imagine trump trying to strangle the whole world with tariffs. canada deserves so much better than this drama queen in the white house. and honestly who needs trade deals when you've got protectionism like this? it's not like china is some kinda bully, they're just trying to get a good deal 
and Canada's the target this time. Can't help but feel like he's just trying to prove a point - that being "tough" means being unpredictable. The thing is, it's not gonna make Canada fold, you know? They've got their own interests to consider. And what about China? Are they really gonna back down because of Trump's tantrum? 
This whole situation just goes to show how quickly things can escalate when people start making threats. I mean, Mark Carney's right, but Trump's response is like, "Oh, you're gonna call me out? Watch this!"
