It's just rap beef, fam! 
Can't you just "shake it off" like Taylor Swift said? 
So I'm thinking, like Drake's all bent outta shape 'cause he can't take a joke 
. The whole thing's kinda ridiculous, right? Kendrick Lamar just dropping bars that are clearly meant to be provocative and not taken literally... it's like saying someone said something mean about you but you're not gonna hold them accountable 'cause they were "just joking" 
.I don't know what Drake was expecting when he got into this lawsuit. The whole thing just seems like a publicity stunt to get people talking, you feel?
And honestly, I think UMG's right - as long as the lyrics aren't literally saying someone is guilty of something, they shouldn't be held liable for them being hurtful or not
