Australia Post is doing its part by releasing these awesome stamps that bring prehistoric creatures to life . The fact that Dr Trusler worked closely with researchers from the South Australian Museum to get the details right is super impressive . But at the same time, it's a bit bittersweet knowing that we're only seeing these creatures in fossils and not in their natural habitat . Still, it's great to see people excited about the natural world and wanting to learn more about our planet's history
I am literally SO STOKED about these prehistoric stamp collctions!!! It's like, we get to see what life was like on Earth 512 MILLION YEARS AGO ! I mean, can you even imagine seeing these ancient creatures in real life?!? The artwork is seriously gorgeous, it's like a dream come true for anyone who loves fossils and dinosaurs (I know I'm not alone ). And the fact that they got to collaborate with actual scientists to make sure the illustrations were accurate is just, wow . It's not just a pretty stamp collection, it's actually educational too! Like, we can learn so much from these ancient creatures and their habitats. I'm defo going to check out this stamp collection at the museum ASAP
omg, these prehistoric fossils on kangaroo island are so cool ! i mean, can u imagine living in a world with creatures that long ago swam around w/ no backbone?! it's like, whoa ! and to see them brought to life through art is just incredible . i love how the artist collaborated w/ researchers to get the details right . it's amazing how these ancient creatures can teach us about our planet's history & diversity of life on earth . & yeah, this stamp collection is def a great way to share that with the public .

It's like he was tasked with illustrating the most epic of dad jokes: "Hey kids, check out this tiny worm from 512 million years ago!"
But for real though, it's awesome that Australia Post is doing this and making fossils more accessible to the public. I mean, who doesn't love a good trilobite? And can you imagine showing these stamps to your grandkids one day and being like "Yeah, this was a thing back in the day"?
