on the bright side, it's awesome that they're like, thriving and figuring out ways to get into our stuff. maybe it's time we start leaving out some snacks for them

It's crazy how they've adapted to living in urban areas, right? I'm no expert but it just goes to show that wildlife is way more resourceful than we give them credit for. And yeah, humans need to step up their game when it comes to trash management - it's a petri dish for urban critters like these raccoons. 
Maybe we should consider some animal-proof storage solutions or something? 
and its so funny that the animal control people are just like "yeah it's fine, he's good" 
I've got pets at home who can't even handle a little bit of booze and this raccoon is just sipping on whisky all night
