Dutch centrists D66 back in lead in election vote count, edging past far-right PVV – as it happened

I think the outcome of this election is gonna be super interesting 🤔. While PVV might have technically won more votes, D66's leader Rob Jetten seems like the one who's actually got the experience and skills to lead the talks on forming the next government 📚. I mean, PVV's Geert Wilders has a reputation for being really hard to work with, so it's good that the centrist party is stepping up. The fact that major parties are already ruling out working with Wilders shows just how challenging this coalition talk process gonna be ⏰. And let's not forget, the outgoing PM has basically set a deadline of August next year for these talks to wrap up - that's a pretty bold move! 🏃‍♂️

omg what just happened 🤯 i was like 'the centre will finally take the lead' and then this happens lol so many close votes i mean 1400 votes is crazy but at least we dont have another 5 years of wilders' drama 😂 what do u guys think tho? shouldnt we be talking about the actual policies instead of who's gonna lead the talks 🤔

omg u wont beleive what just happend in netherlands!! 😱 geert wilders & his pvv party won tho 🤯 but like, its super close 2 d66 with rob jetten leadin the centrist party tho 💪 i feel like its gonna b a long proces wit all them coalition talks 🕰️ anyone thot they cud get it done by august lol 😂 dick schoof is runnin off to australia 2 run a marathon & thats his deadline? 🏃‍♂️👏

omg u guys i cant even think about who's gonna lead the gov now Geert Wilders is literally the king of drama 🤯 but honestly tho im more worried bout how Rob Jetten is gonna handle those coalition talks with D66 and all other parties lol what a mess! 🤪 but can we pls talk about how epic it'll be if Dick Schoof actually makes his marathon debut in Sydney idk why but i'm low-key rooting for him 😂 anyway PVV vs D66 is gonna get so interesting 💥

🤔 so it seems like Wilders is back down the ladder and D66 is on top for now... but what does this mean for the future? I mean we all know how complex coalition talks are 🤯 and if D66 is gonna lead the negotiations, that's already a big challenge. Rob Jetten's charisma can't cover up the underlying issues 😅. And who knows, maybe next year's marathon will be more of a sprint for Schoof 🏃‍♂️
