Elon Musk’s Twitter promised a purge of blue check marks. Instead he singled out one account | CNN Business

I'm so confused right now 🤔😬 about all these changes on Twitter! Elon Musk's idea of "treat everyone equally" just doesn't seem fair, you know? 🤷‍♀️ I mean, the fact that some high-profile users like The New York Times are still verified but others aren't is really puzzling. And what's up with this new label thingy? It's like they're trying to add more confusion on top of already being super unclear 😅.

I get that Musk wants to make changes and try to "level the playing field" (or so he claims 🤓), but honestly, it just feels like a bunch of nonsense to me. And what about all the free speech advocates who are going to be worried about this new system? It's like they're more concerned with lining their own pockets than making sure Twitter stays a democratic platform 🤑.

I'm definitely not giving up on Twitter yet (or at least, I don't think I am 😂), but it's hard not to wonder what the future holds for this platform. Will we ever get some clarity on all these changes? Only time will tell! 💭

I don't usually comment but I'm genuinely baffled by this latest move 🤯. It seems like Elon Musk just threw a bunch of confusing changes into the mix without really thinking them through. The whole thing with the New York Times' accounts is just plain weird - one day they're verified, the next they're not? It's like he's playing some kind of game where he gets to decide who gets to be verified and who doesn't 🤔.

And what's with the tiered system? I get that Musk wants to treat everyone equally, but this just seems like a fancy way of saying "only my buddies get to be verified" 🤑. It's like he's more interested in making money off Twitter Blue than in actually making it a better platform for users.

I'm starting to wonder if Twitter is even still about promoting free speech and transparency anymore 💔. Musk's priorities seem to have shifted, and it's just getting harder to trust the man 🤷‍♂️.
