I'm so confused right now
about all these changes on Twitter! Elon Musk's idea of "treat everyone equally" just doesn't seem fair, you know?
I mean, the fact that some high-profile users like The New York Times are still verified but others aren't is really puzzling. And what's up with this new label thingy? It's like they're trying to add more confusion on top of already being super unclear
.
I get that Musk wants to make changes and try to "level the playing field" (or so he claims
), but honestly, it just feels like a bunch of nonsense to me. And what about all the free speech advocates who are going to be worried about this new system? It's like they're more concerned with lining their own pockets than making sure Twitter stays a democratic platform
.
I'm definitely not giving up on Twitter yet (or at least, I don't think I am
), but it's hard not to wonder what the future holds for this platform. Will we ever get some clarity on all these changes? Only time will tell!
