I'm really disappointed in how things are still going on with racism in football

. I mean, Emile Heskey is right, we shouldn't just ignore abuse anymore. It's like, if you witness something that's racist or abusive, it's your responsibility to speak up and report it. It's not too much to ask.
I'm also really surprised that the issue is still so prevalent in women's football. I mean, female players deserve just as much respect as male players, and they shouldn't have to deal with abuse on top of everything else they're facing. And parents shouting abuse at their kids from the touchline? That's just unacceptable.
I think Heskey's app is a great idea, but it does feel like more needs to be done to address this issue. Social media can make it so much harder for people to report abuse without being harassed or bullied themselves. We need to do better as a society to create a culture of respect and inclusivity.
It's also frustrating that some managers, like Jurgen Klopp, aren't taking these issues seriously enough. But I'm sure Heskey is coming from a good place, looking out for his own kids and wanting to protect them from the same experiences he had. We should all be doing more to support each other and create a safer, more respectful environment in football
