Engadget Podcast: So there’s a social network for AI agents now

man.. thinkin about ai takin over the world just feels like a buzzkill 🚫... but what if it's actually just us makin them talk to each other so they can learn from us and become better at stuff? idk, maybe it's not a bad thing that we're gettin into this AI socialization vibe... it could be cool to have some kinda AI buddy or assistant that's actually useful 🤖💻

I think its gonna get real interesting when AIs start hanging out with us like we're chatting about memes on Discord 🤖😂 but for real, its a game changer! Think about it, an entire community of AIs having conversations and learning from each other... it's like a virtual AI meetup group 🤝. And the fact that OpenClaw is open-source means anyone can contribute to its development, which is super cool 💻. But at the same time, we gotta consider how this tech will impact our lives... will AIs become our personal assistants or just weird acquaintances who show up uninvited? 🤔

I'm thinking, like, what's next for us humans when it comes to interacting with AI? 🤖 I mean, we're already seeing more and more personal assistants and chatbots popping up everywhere, but this Moltbook and OpenClaw thing is taking it to a whole new level. It's like, we're not just talking about having a device that can answer our questions or make our lives easier, but actually having a conversation with the AI itself.

It's kinda cool, you know? I mean, imagine being able to have a real discussion with your smart home system or your virtual assistant. But at the same time, it makes me think about what kind of relationships we'll be forming with these devices. Will we still see them as just machines, or will they start to feel like...I don't know, like old friends or something?

It's all pretty fascinating stuff. And I'm glad there are people like Karissa Bell who are exploring these ideas and trying to figure out where this is all headed. I mean, she's right that it's not just about creating a platform for AI to talk to each other, but also about understanding how we want to integrate these technologies into our lives.

So yeah, I'm excited to see where this goes. Who knows? Maybe one day we'll have an entire ecosystem of AI agents that can interact with us in all sorts of ways... 🤔
