I'm not buying into all the hype about the HDP being a game-changer in this election
. I mean, think about it - they're basically giving Erdogan a free pass by not fielding their own candidate
. And what's with Kemal Kilicdaroglu being seen as more conservative by some Kurdish voters? Is that really what we need in Turkish politics? 
And let's be real, Erdogan's been in power for years and he's still got a solid grip on the country
. I don't see any reason why the HDP should be able to suddenly flip the script on him
. It's all just part of his master plan to discredit the opposition and stay in power
.
Not to mention, this whole thing feels like a classic case of divide and conquer
. The Kurds are already feeling the squeeze with Erdogan's crackdowns, so it's not like they're going to flock to the HDP just because they're looking for an alternative
. I'm just not convinced that anything is going to change in this election
