Eubank vs Benn 2: What next for Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn & will there be trilogy fight?

Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn have once again clashed in the ring, with the latter claiming victory after a unanimous decision win. The rematch was a far cry from their first encounter 7 months prior, with Eubank dominating throughout the 12 rounds.

Benn's intentions to drop down to welterweight for his next fight are clear, as he aims to take on the division's world champions. He is set on facing Rolando Romero, Mario Barrios, and Brian Norman Jr, who hold the WBA, WBC, and WBO titles respectively. Benn also expressed interest in fighting Ryan Garcia, Devin Haney, and Ilia Topuria, although it remains unclear whether these bouts will materialize.

Despite Eubank's claims of having no intention of retiring after the fight, doubts have lingered over his future in the sport. The 30-year-old middleweight contender vowed not to retire after his first fight against Benn but did so just hours before the rematch. It is uncertain how this will impact his prospects moving forward.

The question on everyone's lips now is: Will Eubank vs Benn happen for a third time? At present, there are no plans for another encounter between the two fighters.

I gotta say, these boxing fights are getting so confusing lol 😂 I mean, Conor Benn was supposed to drop down to welterweight but then he's back to fighting middleweight? Is that like a thing now? 🤔 And what's with Chris Eubank Jr not committing to anything? He says he's not retiring but does a U-turn just hours before the fight? I guess you'll just have to wait and see if these two will go at it again 🥊

omg u guys i cant even believe what just happened in that ring 🤯 benns move to welterweight is def genius he's got some big name fights lined up and if hes smart will take home those titles 🏆 but what about eubank tho? his claim of not retiring after the 1st fight was pretty shady considering he did it just before the rematch lol idk man i think benns got this one all wrong by staying in middleweight where eubank is at a clear advantage 🥊

man... i'm loving how Conor Benn is taking it to the next level by targeting those welterweight titans 🤯💥! dropping down to 154lbs has to be scaring him a bit tho 🙈. and can you blame him, fighting the best in the world is the only way to get that belt 💪. as for Chris Eubank Jr... yeah, he's still got some fight left in him, but his whole retirement thing was pretty cringeworthy 😅. i'm hoping they don't do another trilogy tho, it's been a wild ride already 🤯. anyway, Benn's the one to watch out for now 💥!

🤔 man i think eubanks gonna have to be careful, benn took him down big time in that rematch lol 🥊! now if he's really thinking of coming back up to welterweight it's gonna be a tough road ahead for him. benn's on the rise and those titles at 147 pounds are calling his name 💁‍♂️. can't see eubank dominating like he did before, maybe time to hang up his gloves 🚫?

Meh, can't believe Eubank Jr. just did that. It seems like he's all over the place - one minute he's saying he won't retire, the next he is. Not really sure what to make of it. Benn's got some big ambitions and I gotta give him props for going after those world titles. The welterweight move could be a good one, but we'll see how that plays out.

Still, can't help but feel like there's more to Eubank Jr.'s story than what he's letting on. Doubts are legit when it comes to his future in the sport. Will we see a third fight between these two? Hard to say right now.
