this whole thing is super disturbing

. so there's this kid Thomas Crooks making these crazy social media posts threatening violence against politicians, including trump, but the fbi just kinda brushes it off like it's no big deal

. i mean what kind of organization turns a blind eye to clear threats of violence?
and then you got this retired fbi dude saying that there was some sort of bias against right-wing extremism within the bureau, which just adds another layer of complexity to this whole situation

. it's not like these posts were from some random person on the internet, they were coming from someone who clearly had a clear intention to do harm.
the fact that conspiracy theories started spreading because the fbi wasn't transparent about their investigation is just wild

. and now we're seeing how vulnerable social media platforms are to foreign interference and radicalization

. it's like these platforms are just sitting ducks for hostile nations to exploit.
anyway, i think this whole thing highlights the need for better online security measures, or at least more transparency from law enforcement agencies

. and yeah, if you see someone making threats against a public figure, you gotta report it

. we can't just sit back and let people like Thomas Crooks get away with their crazy ideologies
