Ugh, this is getting out of hand

. The fact that MN is trying to delay or defer on this is unacceptable. I mean, come on, they're literally risking $185 million in repayment over not having these records

. It's not like it's a huge ask for them to provide some basic info about child care centers. And yeah, the Somali-run centers being targeted in 2022 was a major red flag, but that shouldn't mean the state is trying to sweep everything under the rug

I get it, there's an investigation going on, and they want to make sure they're not throwing good money after bad

. But at the same time, this is just creating more problems for families who rely on these services. It's like, what's next? Are they gonna stop providing funding altogether? That would be a total disaster

I'm all for transparency and accountability, but this feels like the state is trying to play dumb instead of being proactive about it

. I hope HHS keeps pushing them to get these records in ASAP, because this delay is just causing more unnecessary drama
