I FEEL LIKE MARGE GUNDERSON IS SUCH A ROLE MODEL!!! SHE'S LIKE THE ULTIMATE BALANCE BETWEEN BEING TOUGH AS NAILS AND STILL MANAGING TO BE ALL WARM AND FUZZY INSIDE . AND I LOVE HOW THE COEN BROTHERS PORTRAYED HER COLLEAGUES TOO - THEY'RE LIKE THE COMPLETE OPPOSITE OF MARGE, BUT SHE JUST TAKES THEM AS SHE COMES AND SEEMS TO UNDERSTAND THEM DEEP DOWN . IT'S SO PROFOUND.
I'm just so inspired by Marge Gunderson! She's literally the ultimate symbol of community and compassion . I mean, who wouldn't want to be like her? So calm, collected, and kind, even in the face of all that chaos . And you're right, that "Minnesota nice" stereotype can sometimes get a bad rap, but I think it's so beautiful - it shows how community comes together to support each other, no matter what. The fact that Minneapolis is standing up against ICE agents and showing radical bravery is just incredible . We need more Marge Gundersons in the world!
I'm so glad they're giving Fargo some love after 30 years ! Marge Gunderson is literally the ultimate example of Minnesotan nice . The way Coen brothers portray her warmth and compassion despite being a cop is just pure gold . And you know what's even crazier? Minneapolis residents are taking back control from those ICE agents . It's like, we can't forget that 'Minnesota nice' stereotype, but it's actually rooted in something much deeper - community and love . The film is more relevant now than ever, especially when it comes to standing up against cruelty and fighting for human rights .
