can't believe fifa is giving out a peace prize now lol this is gonna make all the haters go wild. i mean, trump has been super vocal about his views on immigration and ukraine so it's kinda surprising they're giving him a prize for peace efforts. maybe infantino just wants to be friends with trumps ego or maybe its a genuine attempt to recognize some good deeds done by trumps administration? idk but i'm curious to see how this plays out in the long run

I'm kinda surprised FIFA went for Trump, ya know? I mean, he's got a rep for being all about himself and whatnot. Don't get me wrong, I think promoting peace is cool and all, but... did they have to go out of their way like this? It seems like Infantino was trying to butter up Trump with the award, which might not be entirely necessary considering Trump's track record. Still, it's nice that he's being recognized for his efforts or whatever. Canada and Mexico getting a shoutout is a nice touch tho! The ceremony was probably super classy and all, but I'm still trying to wrap my head around this whole thing...

I gotta say, FIFA handing out the peace prize to Trump is kinda weird. I mean, we all know about his admin's drama with Ukraine and immigration stuff... how can you call that peaceful? And what's up with Infantino giving it to him in the first place? Can't he see the controversy surrounding this guy? Still, I guess Trump did talk a lot about peace during his campaign, so maybe they're just trying to say he cares. But still, it's all kinda weird...

I'm so confused about this FIFA prize for Trump . On one hand, I get that he has been all about promoting peace in his own way, but on the other hand, have you seen his administration's track record on stuff like immigration and Ukraine? It's like they're giving him a medal for being nice to our neighbors while still doing some pretty shady stuff. And I don't think it's just about promoting peace either, there are so many other people who have been working on that for years and getting none of the recognition. It feels like FIFA is just trying to make friends with Trump at this point because he's not running for office anymore . I mean, if they're really going to give out a peace prize, shouldn't it go to someone who actually does amazing work in that field?
