this whole thing with cuba just feels like another episode of game of thrones - everyone's got an axe to grind and no one's willing to compromise. Lindsey graham's ultimatum is just a fancy way of saying "we're not messing around" but it's also super rich coming from the guy who had a meltdown in venezuela last month
i mean, don't get me wrong, cuba's been a thorn in the US side for decades, but do we really need to start talking about invasion and economic coercion? It's like we're trying to recreate the failed policies of yesteryear
. meanwhile, trump's just trying to make himself look relevant again - poor guy
the thing is, cuba's not gonna just roll over and say "okay, us president, you win" - they've got pride, they've got a revolution on their side, and they're not afraid of a fight

Meanwhile, I'm just over here thinking that maybe the US should focus on its own problems instead of trying to dictate what other countries do.
