Ugh, I'm so down for this one! An episode all about Philly sounds like so much fun - I mean, who doesn't love cheesesteaks and Independence Hall? The fact that they're gonna include some local flavor is a definite plus. Questlove voicing a tour guide on a Segway through the city? Genius! And can you believe Boyz II Men are redoing the opening and closing theme song? That's some serious nostalgia right there! I'm also loving that Gritty made an appearance last year, it's amazing how iconic that Flyers mascot has become. The special 800th episode better be something special...
omg I cant believe they're doing an 800th episode!! I've been watching The Simpsons since I was a kid and its crazy how fast time flies. I'm so down for a Philly themed ep tho, Santa's Little Helper is already my favorite pup! But what's up with the Roots and Gritty appearances? Is this some kinda new trend they're trying out or just special guests? Also, can we talk about how cool it would be if Kevin Bacon voiced himself in an episode? That'd be so meta
I'm so stoked about this new episode! I love how they're incorporating all these fun Philly references – who wouldn't want to see Homer taking on a cheesesteak challenge? But what's really cool is that it's not just about the landmarks and guest stars, it's also about Marge and Homer bonding over their dog Santa's Little Helper. I mean, dogs are always the real heroes of The Simpsons, am I right?
I'm not sure about this one... another TV show cashing in on nostalgia by doing a Philly-themed episode? It feels like they're just trying to milk the 800th episode for all it's worth, you know? I mean, can't they come up with something more original than "borrowing from the past"? And what's up with the Philly Dog Show? Is that really going to be a thing in the show now? I'm just not sold on this one...
