Former Eagles will get their shot – or another one – at hoisting the Lombardi

Former Eagles to Chase Another Ring in Super Bowl LX

The 2025 Philadelphia Eagles may not be able to repeat as Super Bowl champions, but their former players and coaches will have a chance to lift the Lombardi Trophy this Sunday. A matchup between the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots is set to take place at Levi's Stadium, with some familiar faces suiting up for both teams.

One notable figure in the Patriots' corner is IDL Milton Williams, who played a pivotal role in their Super Bowl season last year. The Eagles were unable to match the Patriots' generous offer, but Williams will now have the chance to win his second consecutive ring with a different team. Despite missing five games this season, he's been a beast in the playoffs and is tied for the team high with four pressures against the Broncos.

Another former Eagle looking to claim another championship ring is WR Mack Hollins. The 2017 fourth-round pick has emerged as a solid role player over the past few seasons, putting up 550 yards on 46 receptions and two touchdowns for the Patriots, along with special teams contributions. A win would give Hollins his second ring.

In the Patriots' secondary, LB Christian Elliss is expected to play a key role in their championship bid. The young linebacker started several games for the Eagles last season before becoming a starter with the Patriots, where he's emerged into an important part of their defense.

On the other side of the ball, the Seahawks are looking to add to their roster with some familiar faces from the Eagles' past. CB Josh Jobe has been a standout performer this season, emerging as one of the NFL's top defenses and starting six games for the Seahawks in 2024. FB Brady Russell, meanwhile, is set to make his postseason debut after being promoted to the 53-man roster by the Seahawks.

Other former Eagles who will be suiting up for the Patriots include EDGE Patrick Johnson, who has bounced back from a tough season with the Giants, and Assistant head coach Leslie Frazier, who won his first ring as a defensive backs coach in 1985 and later became an assistant to Tony Dungy on the 2006 Colts team.

For fans of the Eagles looking for some redemption, there's no shortage of former players and coaches to root for. With Super Bowl LX just around the corner, it'll be interesting to see who comes out on top in this matchup.

omg i'm literally so nervous about this super bowl lol idk if the eagles can win but i have to root for them since i had season tix last year 🤯 my boyfriend is actually friends with mack hollins from college we went to a few games together and he's literally the nicest guy ever 💕 anyway back to the game i think patrick johnson has been struggling this season but edgewise he's always gonna bring that fire 🔥 can't wait for sunday! 📺

I gotta say, this Patriots team is looking pretty fierce 🤯! IDL Milton Williams is like a beast on the field, and Mack Hollins has been putting up some solid numbers for them too. I'm curious to see how Christian Elliss does against his old team... he's got that fire in him 🔥! The Seahawks are gonna put up a good fight though, CB Josh Jobe is looking sharp and FB Brady Russell just stepped up to the plate 🏈🔴

I'm so hyped for this game 🤩! It's gonna be crazy to see some old faces bring home that Lombardi Trophy. I feel bad for Jalen Hurts and the Eagles squad though 🤕. They gave it their all last season, but sometimes these things just don't go as planned. On a more positive note, it's awesome to see guys like Milton Williams and Mack Hollins get another shot at the ring 💪. The Patriots have been looking pretty solid this year, but I think the Seahawks might give them a run for their money 🏈. Josh Jobe is on fire right now 🔥! And can't forget about Christian Elliss, he's been making some big plays for that Patriots defense 👊. This game is gonna be a real nail-biter, for sure 💥.

🤩 I'm so hyped for this one! 🚀 It's always amazing to see former Eagles get a second chance at that ring, especially with guys like Milton Williams and Mack Hollins. Their dedication and work ethic are truly inspiring, especially considering the tough road they've taken this season. 💪 On the other side of the field, it'll be awesome to see the Seahawks roll out some familiar faces from the Eagles' roster. Josh Jobe's been killing it on defense, and I'm rooting hard for him! 🚫 As for Leslie Frazier, his experience is invaluable, and I love that he's getting a chance to relive the magic. It's gonna be an incredible game, and whoever wins will deserve every bit of that Lombardi Trophy 🏆💥

I don’t usually comment but I gotta say, it’s gonna be wild seeing these guys go head to head. IDL Milton Williams is like a beast on the field 🤯 and his story of wanting another ring with a different team is so inspiring. And Mack Hollins is like that one friend you always knew was going to make the most of their opportunities. I mean, who wouldn’t want two rings now? 😂 It’s also cool to see some familiar faces from the Eagles suiting up for both teams - it just makes the game even more fun to watch.

Ugh, looks like Mack Hollins might not win his second ring after all 🤕, I mean, he's still got a shot but Patriots' defense is looking pretty solid 🔒... and Josh Jobe's been killing it for the Seahawks 😅, maybe those former Eagles will come out on top this time? 🤔 Not too optimistic though, I'm gonna stay in my doomscroller bunker until then 💀

I'm still in shock that we lost that super bowl last year 😱, I know it's not our team playing anymore but it's always tough seeing familiar faces in opposing teams, especially when they're doing so well 💪. Mack Hollins is definitely one player I'll be keeping an eye on for the Patriots, he's been a solid contributor and now has a chance to get his second ring 🏆. On the other hand, Josh Jobe is looking fierce with the Seahawks and I'm curious to see how our guys stack up against them 💥. Bring it on! 🎉

The dynamics at play here are fascinating 🤔. On one hand, you have a team with seasoned talent like IDL Milton Williams, who's seeking redemption after parting ways with his previous squad. Meanwhile, the Seahawks are looking to bolster their roster with familiar faces from the Eagles' past, which could be a game-changer 🔥. It'll be intriguing to see how these former Eagles mesh with their new teams and contribute to the outcome of Super Bowl LX 🏈.

The Seahawks are gonna crush the Patriots, lol 🤯 I mean, CB Josh Jobe is on fire this season and that's a huge boost for their defense 💥 FB Brady Russell might not be as flashy, but he's got some serious game-changing potential 🔥 Patrick Johnson on the edge is always a threat, and Leslie Frazier's coaching experience will come in handy. The real question is how good IDL Milton Williams is without his Eagles teammates 🤔 If the Patriots can get him to bring that same level of pressure as before, they've got a good shot at it 💪

I'm so hyped for this game! 🤩 The Patriots have an amazing squad with all these former Eagles, it's like they're speaking my language! I've been following Patrick Johnson's journey and he's come so far from his Giants stint, now he's back in the Super Bowl! 💪 Mack Hollins is another guy who's got me feeling good, he deserves that ring after all his hard work. And can we talk about Christian Elliss? The kid's a beast on the field! 🤯 I'm gonna be watching this game with all my friends, it's gonna be so much fun. Let's go Pats... and let's see our Eagles legends bring home that ring! 💕

I'm hyped for this game 🤩! It's gonna be sick to see these former Eagles go up against each other 💥. I love how IDL Milton Williams is getting a chance to prove himself with the Patriots 🙌, and Mack Hollins is on a roll 🔥. But what's really got me stoked is seeing Christian Elliss bring that heat in the secondary 🔪️.

Here's a quick diagram of what I think might happen:

```
+---------------+
| Seahawks |
+---------------+
| |
| (Josh )
| Jobe )
v
+---------------+---------------+
| Patriots | Patriots |
+---------------+---------------+
| | |
| (Milton )| (Christian)
| Williams)| Elliss)
v v
```
And let's not forget Patrick Johnson and Leslie Frazier bringing their A-game 🔥💪! It's gonna be a thrilling matchup, and I'm all in 🎉.

ugh i'm not sure why we need another super bowl with all these old guys coming back 🤔...idk if idell milton williams is still that good or if mack hollins just lucked into his last ring 👀...and what's up with the pats getting so many of these former eagles? it feels like they're just buying their way to another championship 💸...anyway, gotta root for the underdog and see what happens this sunday 🏈💪
