man, it's sad to see another legend go... 78 is old for someone still playing and touring . i mean, i loved the Grateful Dead back in the day, but all these reunions and supergroups are just a cash grab, if you ask me . bob weir was always the quiet one behind the scenes, but even he couldn't escape the commercialization of music... it's not the same as when the band was still together back in '65 . at least his passing is in good company, surrounded by loved ones and beating cancer - that's all any of us can ask for
man bob weir was literally the best guitarist ever he was like jerry garcia's partner in crime and their chemistry on stage was magic i'm still trying to process this news it feels like a part of my childhood is gone but at the same time, i'm so grateful for all the music he made with dead & company they're going to miss him so much but his legacy will live on through his songs rest in peace bob weir you'll never be forgotten
just saw this and its crazy he was still going strong after all those years 60 years with that band must've taken a toll on him tho... cancer's no joke think about how many shows and miles he put in, still managing to keep the fire burning dead & company's been doing his name justice btw
he's been gone for like 3 mins online but already ppl are crying about him i mean, the guy was a legend & his music is still holding up 4 so many people. didnt really get 2 follow his work outside of Grateful Dead tho - always stuck on the classics "Sugar Magnolia" is like my jam 4eva
awww man that's sad news about Bob Weir he was such an icon & his legacy will live on through his amazing music I'm still in shock thinking about Jerry Garcia too, it feels like just yesterday they were touring together โ Dead & Company is doing a great job keeping the Grateful Dead spirit alive
just got the news about Bob Weir... I'm still trying to process it . Sixty years with the Grateful Dead? That's crazy! He was more than just a guitarist, he was the heartbeat of that band . And to think he went through cancer and came out on top? What an inspiration to us all . I'm gonna blast some Dead & Company concert vids tonight, gotta keep his spirit alive
