I'm not sure what's more concerning - that a respected institution like Heritage Foundation is struggling with its own identity crisis or that people are starting to question whether they can still be trusted to provide thoughtful policy advice. It seems to me that the whole thing started because their leadership got too caught up in trying to prove a point and lost sight of what really matters: doing good work and being true to their values.
