idk why ppl r shocked by guillermo del toro's views on death 
he's just stating the obvious, life is short and we should make the most of it while we can. i mean who doesn't think about their own mortality when they see someone they love pass away? 
anyway, i'm curious to see what his next project is gonna be 
will it be another horror movie or something entirely new? 
personally i think its cool that he's embracing failure and being willing to take risks in pursuit of success

It's like he's saying, "Yeah, I'm tired of this 'living' thing. Can we just get to the good stuff already?" 
And honestly, his perspective on mortality is kinda inspiring – it's all about embracing failure and being willing to be ridiculous to succeed. It's like, if life was a video game, he'd level up by talking about death in a way that makes us laugh... or cry, maybe? 
Anyway, I'm down for exploring the operatic side of things, even if it means del Toro might be the only one who thinks death is cool.
