. first off, i'm all about supporting our veterans & healthcare workers, but this is just ridiculous. an icu nurse gets killed by a border patrol agent? what was the guy even doing on the scene? it's clear there were some serious issues with protocol and accountability here.
and can we talk about how these agencies are always so quick to sweep things under the rug? i mean, Gregory Bovino was just replaced by Tom Homan without any real explanation or consequences for his actions. it's like they're just brushing off this whole thing as a minor incident.

. First off, can't they just de-escalate situations instead of resorting to violence? I mean, it's not like we haven't seen enough cases where federal agents have overstepped their bounds and hurt innocent people.
. And now we've lost Alex Pretti, a talented nurse who just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.
. We need better policies that prioritize human life over border enforcement. The government can't just claim they're doing what's best for everyone when it's clear they're putting people like Pretti in harm's way.

. It's just not right that someone's life was cut short by a federal agent doing their job. I mean, we've all heard stories about rogue cops and stuff, but this is on a whole different level 
. And now the Trump admin is changing leaders, hoping it'll fix things? 
. We need to keep pushing for change until something gets done about this kind of thing...and until ICE is abolished, too 
total senseless tragedy... can't believe the lives lost to such acts of violence
