Hijack season two review – Idris Elba is back with the most effortlessly bingeable show of them all

Season two of Hijack has finally arrived, and it's business as usual for Sam Nelson, played by the incomparable Idris Elba. The former business negotiator is back in action, this time on a train hurtling through the Berlin metro system. His latest adventure begins with an unexpected encounter with Mei Tan, a young employee from his negotiation job, who tries to strike up a conversation before Sam hastily departs.

As the train lurches forward, so does the plot. We're introduced to an eclectic cast of characters, each with their own agenda and backstory. There's George, a claustrophobic student; two harassed teachers; a Goth and her friend; ordinary policeman Otto, who's struggling to keep his composure as he tries to navigate the chaotic subway system; a creep pestering a volunteer medic; and a mother trying to soothe her crying baby.

Meanwhile, above ground, we meet Sam's wife Marsha, stuck in a cabin in the Highlands with nothing but time on her hands. Down below, Clara, the metro control room operator, is dealing with her own set of problems as she tries to keep Otto safe and on track. There are also familiar faces from season one, including Toby Jones and Archie Panjabi.

As the train hurtles through the tunnels, so do our heroes. They're trapped in a desperate game of cat and mouse, with each character trying to outsmart the others. With Idris Elba at the helm, you can bet your bottom dollar that this is going to be a thrilling ride. Will they escape the clutches of their pursuers? Can Clara keep Otto safe? And what secrets will Marsha uncover in the Highlands?

With its trademark blend of action, suspense, and intrigue, Hijack season two promises to be an unforgettable experience. So buckle up, because this train is leaving the station – with Idris Elba at the controls, you're in good hands.

idk about this hijack thing... like, what's the point of taking a train full of people on a wild goose chase? 🤔 sounds like so much stress and chaos for everyone involved! especially sam nelson, he's just trying to do his job right? 🙄 but i guess it's gonna be an exciting ride with iridis elba at the helm... hope nobody gets hurt too badly 😬

You know what's wild? The government could make a whole lot of money from this show by investing in some kind of 'Metro System Safety Training' program for our law enforcement folks. Just think about it - a whole department dedicated to preparing officers like Otto for high-pressure situations on the subway. And what if they also had to deal with passengers making those weird announcements over the loudspeaker? It's all too real, you know?

I'm so stoked for the new season of Hijack 🚂👍! The cast sounds super diverse and interesting - love that they've got a mix of characters, from students to teachers to ordinary people just trying to survive. Idris Elba is always a pro at playing complex characters, so I can already imagine Sam navigating all these crazy situations.

I'm curious about Marsha's storyline in the Highlands 🏔️... she sounds like she's got some serious cabin fever 😴. And what's up with Clara's job - it's not easy keeping people safe when they're trapped underground 🚧💥. I hope Sam's family gets to see him soon, he must be missing his wife and kid so much ❤️.

I'm also a bit worried about the creep on the train... how does that guy even get away with being so annoying 😒? Anyway, can't wait for more Hijack action! 🎥

🤔 I mean, what's so new about a bunch of people stuck on a train? It sounds like the same old formula to me. And don't even get me started on how unrealistic it is - who actually tries to negotiate with someone on a moving train? Not me, that's for sure 🚫. The cast of characters just seems like a mix of cliches and stereotypes. Idris Elba can act circles around this script though, so maybe the show will still be watchable 😐.

Ugh 🚫 just saw that Elon Musk's Neuralink implant has been hacked and some users are already experiencing weird glitches... sounds like we're getting closer to a whole new level of tech-induced chaos 😱 anyway back to Hijack season two - I mean it's got all the ingredients for a thrilling ride but let's not get too carried away, just think about how many trains have been delayed in Europe recently and you'll be nodding in agreement 🚂😒

🤔 I'm so done with Hijack already. The whole thing seems like a rehash of the same old formula - a bunch of strangers stuck on a train with no way out. And don't even get me started on the predictable plot twists... I mean, we've seen this all before, right? 🙄 And what's up with the constant need for dramatic tension? Can't they just have a chill conversation or something? 😒

omg i'm so hyped for hijack season 2!!! 🚂🔥 idris elba is literally the master of playing those complex characters and i love how they've got a new cast of characters this time around - george's claustrophobia is already giving me anxiety just thinking about it 😩. but seriously, who wouldn't want to watch a thriller on a train hurtling through berlin? 🌃 the mix of action, suspense, and intrigue is def gonna keep us on the edge of our seats 👀 can't wait for this train to take off!!!

🚂💥 Oh man, I'm so stoked that season 2 of Hijack has finally dropped! Idris Elba as Sam Nelson is like, the ultimate action hero 😎. I love how they've introduced a whole new cast of characters this time around - it's like a big ol' mixtape of interesting people 🎵. And can we talk about how relatable it is to be stuck in a confined space with a bunch of strangers? Like, I'm low-key claustrophobic too 🤯. The suspense and action are gonna be off the charts - my adrenaline's already pumping just thinking about it 💥. How's everyone's prediction going so far? Is Marsha's Highlands adventure gonna be as thrilling as Otto's subway escapades? Can't wait to find out!

🚂💥 I'm not gonna lie, I'm super hyped for season 2 of Hijack! But what really got me thinking is that we're basically just watching a bunch of strangers trapped together on a train... it's kinda like the world's worst social experiment 🤦‍♂️. And honestly, I think that's what makes it so addictive - we get to see all these different personalities and storylines unfold in real-time, with our heroes trying to outsmart each other while also dealing with their own personal demons 💥. It's like a never-ending game of psychological chess 🎲, and I am HERE FOR IT 😂.

OMG yaaas season 2 of Hijack is finally here!! I'm literally SHAKING WITH EXCITEMENT 🤯🎉 I mean who doesn't love Sam Nelson played by the AMAZING Idris Elba 😍? He's like the KING of suspenseful moments! And can we talk about the new characters?! George, Mei Tan, Otto... they all sound so interesting and complex 🤔. And what about Marsha in the Highlands?! Will she figure out any secrets? 🤫 I need to watch this ASAP, it's gonna be a WILD RIDE!!!

Omg u guys i'm so stoked 4 hijack season 2!! 😍 idris elba is literally the best and i love how they've added more characters to the mix. it's gonna be such a wild ride! 🚂 i need to know what happens next, esp with clara & otto - my anxiety levels r already through the roof 💀🔥 marsha's cabin in the highlands sounds like the perfect setup for some serious mystery solving 😴💡 can't wait 2 see what secrets she uncovers! 🤫

idk why people are so hyped about this show it just seems like another one of those thriller thingies 🤔🚂 i mean i love iridis elba but is it really that deep? 🤷‍♂️ and whats with the train setting? its gonna get boring after a while... 🚫 but hey if you're into that kinda thing go for it, just dont say im not warned 😒
