
This is absolutely appalling

. I mean, 12 police officers had a case to answer for gross misconduct and you're just letting them off scot-free because they've either retired or kicked the bucket

? It's like justice isn't being served here at all.
I remember the Hillsborough disaster, it was a horrific tragedy that resulted in the loss of so many innocent lives

. And to think that these officers might have been complicit in the cover-up... it's just too much to stomach

The IOPC's findings are indeed a source of national shame

, and it's not like they can't find any way to hold these officers accountable even if it's just a slap on the wrist

. It's a shame that justice isn't being served for the families of those who lost their lives

I hope there's going to be some kind of change in how investigations are handled, so this kind of thing doesn't happen again


. The public deserves better than to feel like justice is being undermined
